Mrs. Sophy Sono is one of the remarkable participants in the 300-household Livelihood Restoration Program in the Mokopane region. Through passion and thoughtful planning, she has turned her home vegetable garden into a thriving example of self-sufficiency and community inspiration.

Using the AgricultSURE Winter Home Garden Starter Pack, Mrs. Sono propagated her own seedlings and staggered her planting by six weeks a smart approach that ensures a continuous supply of fresh, nutritious vegetables throughout the year. With on-site support from the AgricultSURE team, her garden now yields winter favourites like radish, turnips, kale, beetroot, and carrots, ideal for hearty, wholesome meals during the colder months.
