AgricultSURE is a farming consultancy specialist, food security agent, and innovative starter pack developer and supplier based in South Africa, linked to a large network of agribusinesses and developing agents across the African sub-continent. We specialise in structuring and implementing small-scale farming projects, as well as in household and community garden product development, operating sub-equatorial on the African continent, covering most SADC countries.
AgricultSURE is a proud subsidiary of the Laeveld Agrochem group among whom we are focusing on the small-scale farmer and homestead garden sector. We have vast exposure to managing large regional corporate farming projects for multinational processing companies planting high-margin horticultural crops, as well as large-scale agronomic emerging farmer projects, with plantings of more than 12,000 ha per season.

AgricultSURE, as an agricultural consultant, at a macro level, applies its hands-on corporate farming experience to locate, assess, develop, and optimise farming projects across southern Africa. With a complete array of exposure, which includes actively managing large-scale commercial farming operations, applying key management principles to identify, evaluate and prioritise risk, to make effective and efficient decisions (doing the right thing, but also doing the right thing, correctly).
At an intermediate level, AgricultSURE focuses on improving the output of farmers, with special emphasis on small-scale farmers by aligning and matching farming opportunities with available resources. Once resources are assessed and balanced, we guide participants to compile their business plans. Once these are approved, project implementation starts. This is backed by training and skills transfer programs and may include custom-designed starter packs as practical implementation kits. This is to set a high and uniform standard for all clients by offering top-quality crop input and application equipment, to ensure access to quality seed, fertilizer, and IPM, as well as access to functional application equipment.
At a micro level, AgricultSURE focuses on promoting household food security products, including smart home garden starter pack solutions and concepts. This is not merely done to address food security but also to introduce aspiring farmers to the agricultural sector and to simultaneously address poverty and unemployment.

Airing since August 2022, the series showcases local up-and-coming farmers using innovative methods for food production.
